Description

Ceconite is a special polyester fabric designed for aircraft covers. Ceconite is also much more resistant to weather conditions and has higher strength than cotton or linen class A!
Working with Ceconite fabric is generally easier and faster. Ceconite is suitable for all aircraft where a very strong, durable fabric with low stretch and high tension is required.
Type 17-Light is the lightest of the Ceconite fabric family. The weight of this fabric is: 1.87 oz/sq yd (53 grams per 91 cm x 91 cm area). Number of threads: 90 x 76/1 inch.
Average tensile strength: 69 lbs/inch.
The lightweight 17-Light fabric is recommended for covering plywood surfaces on any aircraft and any ultralight aircraft that is not certified.
For certified aircraft, it is only approved for covering plywood surfaces. This fabric is unstamped. Roll width: 1.8 m.
